PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW NO. 6698 (KVKK)
CCTV SURVEILLANCE PRIVACY NOTICE
This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Montes Foreign Trade Limited Company ("Data Controller/Montes"), in its capacity as the Data Controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.
Within the indoor and outdoor areas of our Company's factory premises, including common areas, buildings and annexes, meeting rooms, waiting areas, offices, parking lots and other indoor and outdoor common-use areas, image recordings of the relevant persons, including employees, employee candidates, interns, shareholders/partners, supplier employees, supplier representatives, customers receiving products or services, visitors and representatives, are recorded and processed through security cameras in accordance with the purposes set forth in Articles 4 and 5 of the Law, for the purposes of ensuring the security of movable and immovable property, ensuring physical premises security, ensuring occupational health and safety for employees, monitoring performance, conducting supervision, fulfilling public service obligations, and ensuring your security.
Recording is carried out by means of camera surveillance twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, and the recording process is monitored by the Information Technology Department and the authorized company unit. The cameras record for a period of thirty (30) days, and the recordings are automatically deleted upon the expiration of the retention period.
The aforementioned personal data processed through camera surveillance are processed automatically based on the legal grounds specified in Article 5/2(ç) of the Law, namely "where processing is necessary for the Data Controller to fulfill its legal obligations," and Article 5/2(f), namely "where processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, provided that such processing does not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Data Subject."
The personal data processed through camera recordings may, where necessary, be transferred in accordance with Article 8 of the Law to the authorized units of our Company, our shareholders/partners, our representatives, judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement authorities solely for the purpose of fulfilling legal dispute processes, and to competent public institutions and organizations where required by legal obligations or public service requirements, particularly for the purpose of fulfilling the obligation to present evidence in legal disputes.
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which regulates the rights of the data subject, you may exercise your rights in accordance with Paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the KVKK titled "Application to the Data Controller" and the provisions of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller by completing the Data Subject Application Form available on our website and submitting it to Montes Foreign Trade Limited Company ("Data Controller/Montes"), at Halkalı Merkez Mah. Dereboyu Cad. Antplato No:4/157-158 Küçükçekmece / Istanbul, in person together with documents verifying your identity, by sending an e-mail from your registered electronic mail address in our systems to info@montestrading.com, by sending a Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) to montes@hs06.kep.tr, or through a Notary Public.
